Welcome to Mirai Recruit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mirai Recruit candidate platform at join.mirairecruit.com (the "Platform") and any related services provided by Mirai Recruit Inc. ("we," "our," or "us").

By registering for an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. About Mirai Recruit

Mirai Recruit is an AI-powered career platform operated by Mirai Recruit Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware, USA. The Platform helps candidates build their professional profile, complete skill assessments, and connect with companies actively hiring.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@mirairecruit.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform solely for personal career development, job applications, and skills assessment. You must not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile or in assessments
• Attempt to manipulate, circumvent, or reverse-engineer any assessment or scoring system
• Share your account credentials with any third party or take an assessment on behalf of another person
• Attempt to scrape, extract, or copy content from the Platform beyond your authorised access
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms.

5. AI Features and Data Processing

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide features including profile analysis, interview preparation, skills assessment scoring, and job matching. By enabling AI features during onboarding or job application, you explicitly consent to:

• Processing of your profile data, CV, and assessment responses by AI systems operated by Mirai Recruit and its sub-processors (including Amazon Web Services and Anthropic)
• Generation of assessment scores, match ratings, and profile insights derived from your responses
• Sharing of your assessment results and profile data with prospective employers to whom you have applied via the Platform

AI-generated scores and assessments are designed to support, not replace, human evaluation. You may withdraw your AI processing consent at any time by contacting us at hello@mirairecruit.com or via your profile settings. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

6. Credits and Payments

Certain premium features require credits, which can be purchased via Stripe. Credit packs are non-refundable once consumed. Assessments for active job applications are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify credit costs with reasonable notice.

7. Your Data and GDPR Rights

Mirai Recruit Inc. is the data controller for your personal data. Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time via your profile settings or by contacting us at hello@mirairecruit.com.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, design, algorithms, assessment frameworks, and underlying software are the intellectual property of Mirai Recruit Inc. and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended personal use.

You retain ownership of your profile content and responses. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Mirai Recruit a limited licence to store, display, and process that content to operate the Platform and to share relevant portions with employers you apply to.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services (e.g., Stripe for payments, Google for authentication). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services and encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies before use.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mirai Recruit Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

Mirai Recruit does not guarantee employment outcomes. Employers make all final hiring decisions independently.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mirai Recruit Inc.'s total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. In no event shall Mirai Recruit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
• Any legal disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, USA.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and notify active users via email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
